Preparing, uploading and online aural adjustment as may be required, using official International Phonetic Alphabet conventions and symbols, of the textual content of the ebook edition for a Google Book Store audiobook edition; implementing the client's choice of narrative voice from samples provided; and uploading and providing metadata for the audiobook's sale in up to 64 countries.

Additional charges

Conversion of manuscripts longer than 100,000 words will incur an additional charge pro rata to the standard fees shown above.

The standard fees shown do not include bespoke formatting – occurrences of indented text, text presented in a different typeface or size, sideheads, tables, lengthy bibliographies, etc – where a separate charge, agreed in advance, will be made.

OCR scanning and conversion to a Word or other text document of a typed manuscript or printed book can be undertaken at a charge of 30p per typewritten or original printed page.

Illustrative content other than the front cover—including colour or monochrome photographs, illustrations or line draw-ings—shall be subject to an additional charge, to cover processing and coding, of £3.00 per item.

Given that reflowable-text ebooks do not support conventional footnotes, they will will be presented as end-of-chapter or end-of-book endnotes and their inclusion will incur an additional charge, which will be specified on sight of the manuscript.

Table-like, tabulated content of limited page width may be accommodated in ebooks but requires special coding for which an additional charge will be made, which will be specified on sight of the manuscript.

In the case of paperback and hardback editions, there will be a charge of £95.00 for providing a list of relevant headwords and associated page numbers in the form of a Word or other text document, which the client may edit, and implementing the completed index.

In the case of ebook editions, there will be a charge of £95.00 for providing the client with a list of relevant headwords and associated virtual page numbers in the form of a Word or other text document, which the client may edit, and implementing an index incorporating active links to the ebook's content.
